Tito Puente “El Rey Del Timbal” was Latin Music royalty.  Puente was a complete musician who went to the prestigious Julliard School of music and was well versed in Latin rhythms. Tito excelled not only on the timbales (his preferred instrument), vibes and various instruments but has also composed, arranged and led his own big bands and Latin Jazz ensembles.  Tito also was one of the 3 famed Mambo Kings of the NY Palladium era (along with Machito and Tito Rodriguez).  HIs 100 plus recordings featured Salsa, Mambo, Latin Jazz and two vanity projects on Percussion.  He collaborated with such greats as Celia Cruz, La Lupe, Eddie Palmieri, Santos Colon, Hector Lavoe & India.
